⚡ Dance out your confusion and sadness with Wy’s new single “Bathrooms”

Dancing in empty rooms, in front of antique sculptures representing perfect bodies while singing about self-doubt and confusion of being a 20-year-old. Once again, Swedish dream pop duo Wy hit the nail on the head with their new video of “Bathrooms”.

Wy‘s new single “Bathrooms” is musically in line with their previous releases such as “In Bloom” and “Nobody Else“. The song is a wave of feelings on a guitar-driven dream-pop and, as they fairly describe it, it is also their most personal release so far.

It’s difficult to remain objective as we totally dived into the ‘sadness cult’ of the Malmö-based duo which comprised of Michel Gustafsson and Ebba Ågren. In their new video, Ebba is beautifully dancing out her doubts around Michel who remains impassive. This contrast actually reminds us of Robyn‘s choreography on “Call Your Girlfriend”. It is visually gorgeous and authentic.

“Bathrooms” is the first single from Wy‘s debut album “Okay” which will be released on October 18 via Hybris.
