Finnish duo Pearly Drops — Sandra Tervonen and Juuso Malin — are gearing up to release their third album, The Voices Are Coming Back. Following the surreal shimmer of previous singles “Mermaid” and “Ratgirl,” their latest work continues to explore themes of disillusionment and dream logic, set against a hazy Los Angeles backdrop.
The newly released single “End Credits” floats in as a haunting midpoint, a moment of eerie calm in the album’s narrative of unraveling. Built around a motorik rhythm and synthetic vocals, the track captures a quiet, aching reflection: “Would you roll the credits, babe? / Let it fade to black / Could you always see the end? / I never would.”

The single also comes with a tour diary-style video which traces the band’s recent travels through cities like Berlin, Paris, and Glasgow, grounding the song’s dreamlike melancholy in real-life moments. “‘End Credits’ is about being left behind in someone else’s story,” the duo explain, describing the song as a love letter buried in a dream, “half memory, half hallucination.” It’s a fitting sentiment for a track that feels like the emotional fog at the close of a movie, when all that’s left is the echo.
