Usher – Crash

Usher-Crash

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]R[/su_dropcap]&B veteran Usher seems to be working on a new album as he released 2 singles this week. The project, which should be titled “Flawed”, has not been officially confirmed yet. Anyway, after “No Limit”, a featuring with Young Thug that can be streamed on Tidal since yesterday, the artist really caught our attention with “Crash”, an addictive ballad that will remind you the amazing “Climax”!

Flowdan – Horror Show Style (video)

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]G[/su_dropcap]rime is not something new! Marc Veira aka Flowdan is in a good position to know it as he is one of the first members of Roll Deep, the main English grime crew that was founded in 2002 by Wiley and that has featured (and still do it) major acts such as Dizzee Rascal and Skepta. Flowdan, whose career has spanned the best part of two decades, will release his new LP “Disaster Piece” on July 15 via Tru Thoughts. Watch the new video for the lead single “Horror Show Style” in this post!

One year after “Trouble”, she’s back with the infectious “Cold To The Touch”. We prefer to warn you: once you start with this song, it’s like Chuckie. It will follow you till the end!

Kiah Victoria – Cold War

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]S[/su_dropcap]ome days ago, Brooklyn-based 24-year-old singer Kiah Victoria released “Cold War”, a powerful RNB ballad that has everything to make Alicia Keys envious. The young artist, who was active on the internet before, seems to make a clean sweep of matters as she deleted everything that was already available online and presents this new track as her debut single. The track is the first one from a forthcoming debut EP due later this year. A promising track from a future star!

Sälen – Diseasey

Seven months ago, we were highlighting Sälen as our newcomers of the week. Recently, the trio from London shared a new track. “Diseasey” is another catchy pop song that proves that we were right to bet on them!

Kristin Kontrol – X-Communicate

Over the last 8 years, Kristin Welchez aka Dee Dee Penny has driven her band Dum Dum Girls to the top with three acclaimed albums, four EPs, and a host of singles through the group offered indie pop gems inspired by 60s and 80s beats. But one year ago, Dee Dee began to feel limited by that musical style and aesthetic which, as she explained to Filler Magazine, was starting to work against her. She had personally evolved and it was normal for her music to do so as well. Her solution? Adios guitars! Goodbye longstanding producers Sune Rose Wagner and Richard Gottehrer! So-long, Dum Dum Girls! Despite some concerns from her label Sub Pop Records, Dee Dee Penny was put to rest and Kristin Kontrol was born. and “X-Communicate” is her debut project under this new identity.
