On “Keep A Secret”, Cape Weather tenderly depict an unrequited crush

“Keep A Secret” is taken from Cape Weather‘s upcoming EP, to be released in June via Anxiety Blanket Records.

Los Angeles-based Cape Weather follow up on their exquisite “Try Harder” with another caressing and sun-kissed song, to keep our hopes up. On “Keep A Secret,” the up and coming duo comprising Natalie Smith and Eric Jackowitz draws from 80’s Japanese beach music to depict an unrequited crush. Behind the sweet and sea-kindly arrangements, she sings “I know you think that you’re in love with her.” Brimming with nostalgia and spleen, the track is already the second ear candy lifted from their upcoming new EP. Support the band via Bandcamp, before the track hits the streaming outlets later this month.
