Fine is almost ready to share her second album, Jazz Dreams, and we already know a pretty generous chunk of it. “I Could”, “Run”, “Moment”, “Everything in the Shade” and “Portal” have all gradually introduced the record’s hazy mood. The follow up to 2024’s Rocky Top Ballads was self produced, recorded and mixed by Fine herself, with thirteen songs that seem more interested in following a mood than arriving at any obvious destination.

Today, she has added one final piece to the puzzle with “Sometimes I Rush”. The evanescent song feels light on its feet but slightly distracted, carried by an upbeat rhythm and Fine’s clipped vocals. There is something sweet and absent minded about it too, like getting caught daydreaming about someone while everything else keeps moving around you.

“Sometimes I Rush” also comes with a video directed by Betty Krag and starring Fine alongside Fie Martens Ljungmann inside a church.
