[su_dropcap style=”simple”]B[/su_dropcap]ack in October, the HighClouds team attended Ibeyi’s wonderful concert at the Ancienne Belgique. During this concert, they performed one of their singles, “Stranger/Lover“, which they had previously just released a moving video a month before. The sisters are now presenting us two new versions of the song.
The first song is a complete “Refix” made by the established English DJ/Producer Mark Ronson.
He built the song with a mind full of funk infused with some R&B vibes.
Mark told The Fader; “I’ve never worked so closely with an artist when doing a remix before, it was more like producing a track from scratch than making a remix.”

On the other hand, the young and talented rising artist Mura Masa did his own remix. A remix that you could immediately affiliate to him, as it’s completely his own style.
For example the intro has many similarities with some of his previous songs, hint hint his latest song “Love for That” featuring Shura
