Los Angeles-based artist Saro is one of the most exciting artists that we have discovered during the past year. Since the magnificent “Test“, that has a great melody aligned with dancing beats and a captivating vocals that Evan Windom (his real name) captured our attention.
After that, we had an EP “In Loving Memory“. One of the tracks of the EP is “Loving”. A song about Saro putting himself in the perspective of one of his past lovers as himself states:
I wrote “Looking” as a letter to myself from the perspective of a past lover. The final words exchanged were “I hope you find what you’re looking for.” Equal parts hopeful and hopeless, genuine and bitter. I have yet to find anything.
The melancholic but yet stunning track has now received a beautiful video to go with it. The video, directed by Stormi Bree Hemley, features Saro swim naked in a swimming-pool, dancing around a garden and holding a big bouquet of flowers on his hand.
The video comes with some other big news for his fans. The Los Angeles artist will perform March 17th and 18th in SXSW festival in Austin, Texas and headlining his first show in LA, April 10th.
You can follow him over Facebook, Twitter and Soundcloud.
