After commencing her artistic journey in the Finnish archipelago of Åland, Swedish singer-songwriter and producer Julia Carlsson, known by her stage name LEOBLU, relocated to Berlin. In the vibrant German capital, she meticulously crafted her forthcoming EP, Blu Lucid Nightmare, recently heralded by the release of “full moon & snow boots.”
A song about dreaming, longing, and expressing gratefulness for nature and its impermanence, “full moon & snow boots” reimagines polyphonic harmonies, by coupling them with a drone backdrop and haunting reverb. Accompanied by a DIY video filmed in California, “full moon & snow boots” stands as a raw yet deeply emotive offering.
