“Secrets (Your Fire)” is the second single taken from Magdalena Bay‘s debut album, Mercurial World, out October 8 on Luminelle.

Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin are readying the release of their highly-anticipated debut album Mercurial World. We already heard the massive, dystopian lead single, “Chaeri,” and today they’re unveiling the second single, “Secrets (Your Fire),” that they teased on their very cool website. The track channels some funky and Japanese City pop vibes, that should please all the fans of “Killshot.” The video game-inspired clip also marks the comeback of their infamous green screen.

“Secrets is about interconnectivity, privacy, and digital anxiety,” they explain. “It’s also about a need to keep sharing, to keep giving up more and more of yourself to faceless strangers in the hopes of making friends or fans.”
