“As Many Birds Flying” is taken from Meernaa‘s upcoming sophomore album, So Far So Good, out October 6 via Keeled Scales.
Meernaa‘s music stands at the intersection between the smoothness and elegance of neo-soul, the airiness of indie pop and the reflective songwriting of americana. Four years after Heart Hunger, the producer, songwriter and vocalist is readying the release of her new album So Far So Good, a project exploring themes of addiction and loss, that she introduced with some great singles over the last six months. Yesterday, the LA-based musician unveiled a soothing new offering off the 10-track record, “As Many Birds Flying”, as well as a gorgeous Silvia Grav-directed video, shot outside of Los Angeles.
Arnaud, a passionate music enthusiast from France, now based in Madrid, founded HighClouds in 2015. With an ear for the dreamy, the ethereal, and the unconventional, he thrives on discovering and sharing boundary-pushing sounds.
