METTE’s new song, “Van Gogh,” is out now.

Can we all take a minute to admire the talent of METTE? Since she was introduced to the world as a dancer in the music video for “Lemon” by N.E.R.D. and Rihanna, the multidisciplinary artist is establishing herself as a solo artist, one hit at a time.

Appreciating METTE requires patience, though; since her debut track “Petrified” in 2021 —and what a debut it was— Mette Towley has only released three tracks. But each of them is meticulously refined down to the smallest details, and comes with an equally impeccable video, in which she delivers sharp moves. Today, METTE returned with “Van Gogh,” an ode to the muse(s) that live within each of us. And as expected, this funky bop would not be the same without its impressive video, directed by Camille Summers-Valli.
