When two of our favourite bands come together, it always feels a little special. Pearly Drops have just shared “Fade To Black,” a reimagined version of their The Voices Are Coming Back track “End Credits,” this time reworked by the ever-amazing Night Tapes.
The original indie-pop cut, written and produced by Sandra Tervonen and Juuso Malin, was a haunting reflection on a relationship, depicting a surreal, almost cinematic portrait of love turning into something consuming and unbalanced. But under Night Tapes’ touch, the track takes on a whole new atmosphere. The UK-Estonian ambient-pop trio give it a more euphoric, expansive feel, perfect for late-night drives.
“Fade To Black” follows “Heaven,” and both tracks are set to feature on Pearly Drops’ upcoming expanded The Voices Are Coming Back project. The band are currently wrapping up their European tour and will be supporting Slayyyter on her Girl In The World Tour across the US this September.
