Trio RABBII share their politically-charged “All Men Die” to call out all men about their behaviour, and most generally, the position of power they get from society.
As in Highclouds, we have a space where women can share their experiences of patriarchy, we were pretty much sold with the idea of their new track. Not only it transmits a message to all men out there but also, it uses Game of Thrones references: “We can be heroes, we can be like Hodor”, they sing. About the concept of the track, RABBII explained to us over email:
The first step to fixing a problem is admitting you have one. And we have a problem with what our culture does to men. We live in a world where women feel the need to have their keys between their fingers going home just to feel safe. People who use violence, rape, are racists, who put their millions in tax havens and starts wars have one thing in common. They are almost always men. Either we kill this cultural monstrosity we’ve created, or we all die. And to those who say #notallmen.. You’re part of the problem.
