Sabrina Bellaouel announces new EP with experimental cut “Nasser”

“Nasser” is taken from Sabrina Bellaouel‘s new EP, We Don’t Need To Be Enemies, out September 4 via InFiné.

If French-Algerian singer and producer Sabrina Bellaouel has built a reputation with her ethereal and voluptuous R&B, as heard on Cheikh (2016) and Illusions (2019), her new EP might disconcert a few fans. More experimental, more techno and somehow more punk, We Don’t Need To Be Enemies seems to be a perfect response to our current time – read “chaos”. The 5-track project is introduced by “Nasser”, a defiant and intricate cut featuring a statement from Gamal Abdel Nasser, Egypt’s second president. Listen and pre-order below.
