Smerz‘s double single “The favourite / Rap interlude” is out via XL Recordings.
Copenhagen-based Norwegian electronic duo Smerz (Catharina Stoltenberg + Henriette Motzfeldt) are back two years after their Have fun EP. Teasing a still enigmatic project titled Believer, they have shared two new tracks, “The favourite” and “Rap interlude”, which seem to switch their icy brand of electronic for a sort of baroque, medieval avant-folk. The two tracks come with a Benjamin Barron-directed visual teaser.
Arnaud, a passionate music enthusiast from France, now based in Madrid, founded HighClouds in 2015. With an ear for the dreamy, the ethereal, and the unconventional, he thrives on discovering and sharing boundary-pushing sounds. If it’s weird, bold, and forward-thinking, you can bet he’s here for it.
