Xelli Island shares catchy love song “Bad For You”

“Bad For You” is taken from Xelli Island‘s debut EP, to be released in October.

Dream pop singer-songwriter Lianna Vanicelli aka Xelli Island follows up to the addictive “O2 20 20” with another ethereal track taken from her upcoming debut EP. Co-produced and co-written with Jon Zott, the project is described as “her life’s work”. Like her previous offerings, “Bad For You” showcases Xelli Island talent to write catchy hooks and lyrics that sound both personal and relatable.

“‘Bad For You’ is the love song I’ve been wanting to write for years,” she explains. “It captures that sweet spot of falling for someone who you know could eventually break your heart. It’s about putting away your pride and surrendering to the mystery of love and connection. I think it’s really rare to feel completely enamoured with someone, but when you do it’s truly incomparable.”
