“Resonate” is taken from Yehra‘s self-released debut EP, Magnetic.
Yehra have been on our radar for a few months. Comprised of Barbadian-Canadian singer Jen Mahon and Danish producer Rasmus Liebst, the duo has been collaborating for a decade without never actually meeting in real life. Experts in dreamy and sensual tracks (“Magnetic,” “Daydreaming”) and visuals, the pair exist in a liminal space between Jessie Ware, The Marías and Men I Trust. They ruminate about love and longing over soulful grooves and enthralling bass lines; all with a touch of “Nordic coolness.” They have now unveiled “Resonate,” the last single taken from their aptly named EP, Magnetic, and it is probably one of their most languid and aerial songs to date.
