“The Fire” is taken from AUSTEN‘s forthcoming second EP, SMALL, to be released on Tank Top Records.
Brisbane’s bedroom pop artist AUSTEN is teasing the release of her sophomore EP with “The Fire,” a track that is simultaneously dreamy and danceable. Melding together indie electronica textures, house pulsations, and hazy pop, in the same vein as Aussie fellas Kllo, the rising artist worked alongside Matthew Hadley and Jono Ma to craft a vibrant reflection about “living on the line between volatile and steady, in a sweet spot of intensity.”
