Zuma. – haste (ft. nsolo) and All Nite (ft Lenis Kim)

If you haven’t listened to Zuma. yet, I shit you not, drop everything you’re doing and listen to this guy’s tracks. There aren’t many artists that I would endorse like this after listening to only a couple tracks but my dude Zuma. is one of them. After only a couple of seconds after pressing play, I was already frantically messaging my friend and asking why this music hadn’t been in my life earlier. Listen to this guy’s tracks and you’ll understand why I am absolutely hyped about this.

Pional

Pional – The Way That You Like (feat. Empress Of)

Imagine a salad, comprised a various flavors and parts all coming together. Each distinct note and flavor comes together and creates something beautiful. That’s probably the best way to describe Pional’s new track “The Way That You Like” featuring the silvery vocals of Empress Of. It is a mixture of sounds that are vibrating with life that warp and come together to create the most pleasant auditory experience. Pional is a wonderful Spanish producer that is known for his great dance tracks, and “The Way That You Like” is just a preview of the array of tracks he has for us in his new EP “When Love Hurts”. You should definitely give this song a listen, it definitely sounds just the way that you like.

bon iver 22 over soon

Bon Iver – 22 (OVER S∞∞N) [Bob Moose Extended Cab Version]

Five years. It’s been five years since Bon Iver has given us a new song. Bon Iver, the name for Justin Vernon’s musical project has caught the public’s (and my) ear with noteworthy tracks such as the song (seemingly covered by everyone) “Skinny Love”, “Holocene”, (and my personal favorite) “For Emma”. Well he is finally back with a slightly different (but very interesting) sound, in this emotive and evocative track, “22 (OVER S∞∞N) [Bob Moose Extended Cab Version]”. My dude is back and it’s honestly so great.

⚡ Blood Orange – Augustine

Slicing into a blood orange, the warm sunset tones of the exterior give way to the deep, rich crimson of the interior. The juices spill slightly in the wake of its creation and the taste is distinct and multifaceted. This is why Blood Orange is the perfect name for Dev Hynes’ musical project. He recently released a new record “Freetown Sound”, and one particular track (from an array of dazzling songs, like dude, trust me, go check out this album right now) that stands out is “Augustine”.

PatrickReza – Let U Fall (Feat. Aubren Elaine)

patrick reza let u ll

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]I[/su_dropcap]ntense. Bass-heavy. Dark. These are usually the words that come to mind when listening to PatrickReza‘s tracks. However, these are not the words that come to mind when you begin listening to his new track “Let U Fall” featuring the wonderful vocalist Aubren Elaine. Los Angeles-based producer typically drops strong dubstep tracks with solid basslines. However, “Let U Fall” pleasantly shakes things up in his mellower (but still very LIT) track.

Loud Luxury Villains

Loud Luxury x Shoffy – “Villains”

Loud Luxury Villains

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]“D[/su_dropcap]eep house, with a splash of tequila” was the tagline given to Loud Luxury’s sound. Well I certainly don’t know what tequila feels like at all because I’m not 21 yet, and underage alcohol consumption is a sin against god, but it certainly is an apt description. Anyway, Loud Luxury and Shoffy made me drunk with “Villains”! Normal: it’s a free download!

KOLAJ- “Into You”

Kolaj Into You

[su_dropcap style=”simple”]I[/su_dropcap]n my totally unbiased and objective opinion, New York imma let you finish, but LA is one of the best cities of all time, of all time. LA has some of the best people to vibe with, the best places to ‘gram about, and of course, the best music scene. Springing from the LA dance-pop scene earlier last year is the duo KOLAJ, consisting of the talents of singer-songwriter Tessa Houston and producer/composer Mighty Mike McGarity. Listen to their new amazing track “Into You”!
