DVC Refreshments‘s debut EP, Hits Only, is out November 13 on Arbutus.
Back in 2017, TOPS and Born At Midnite‘s songwriter, producer and guitarist David Carriere aka DVC Refreshments recorded a collection of poppy songs that will finally be unveiled next month, as a “response to the malaise of lockdown”. This luminous tape features TOPS’s Jane Penny, Rapport‘s Maddy Wilde and Moon King. Featuring sampled and pitch-shifted vocals, the hyperactive first single “Wasted on the Real Thing” is already out.
