“Forsythia” is taken from La Palma‘s self-released sophomore album, Moonflower.
Two years after their self-titled debut album, Chris Walker and Tim Gib- bon of La Palma have returned with a new epistolary record, Moonflower, which was crafted by sharing sound files back and forth across the country since they respectively live in San Francisco and Washington DC. A highlight from the 12-track project, cosmic track “Forsythia” announces a spring like no other. Combining romantic songwriting with a psychedelic instrumentation, the surreal track, just like the flower it draws inspiration from, blossoms to offer an otherworldly final climax.
Arnaud, a passionate music enthusiast from France, now based in Madrid, founded HighClouds in 2015.
