“Believe it All” is taken from Twin Rains‘ upcoming sophomore album, Unreal City, out November 19.
Toronto dream pop duo Twin Rains (Christine Stoesser + Jay Merrow) are readying the release of their new project, which they describe as “a dark night of the soul kind of album.” Although it sounds pretty soothing at first, their newest single, “Believe it All,” brims with obscure beauty. It’s an atmospheric and contemplative offering about the “the misinformation you feed yourself, in your own head. And how it can become a creed, and you start to believe it all.” The surreal track also comes with a gorgeous black and white video, courtesy of director Jon Staav.
