“Parody of Crime” is taken from Ydegirl‘s self-titled debut album, out October 15 on Escho.
Danish avant-pop artist Ydegirl has just announced the release of her debut album. Following up to “breezing back and forth between” and “Zodiac,” she has also shared a new single, “Parody of Crime,” of which she said: “‘Parody of Crime’ was the last song on the album I wrote. It’s about the point in the pain where you become numb, and this is when you know something is wrong and you need to show this ghost some love to come through.” Listen and pre-order via Bandcamp below.
