Eden Samara‘s debut album, Rough Night, is out November 01 via Local Action.
Following the singles “Madonna” and “The Local“, Canadian singer, writer and producer Eden Samara has finally announced the release of her debut album. “Rough Night offers eight scenes that through music tells my own ‘coming of age’ story,” stated Samara. “I think well into our adulthood we still go through cycles of losing ourselves and finding ourselves again, so the album encompasses a cycle of growing pains, then coming out the other end where one might appear the same but inside something has shifted. The first scene opens on my headspace at the beginning of the album. The following scenes capture moments in time – falling in love, self-acceptance, loss, sex and sexuality, confusion, and arriving back at the beginning.”
Exploring self-discovery through club music and forward thinking R&B, the eight tracks were made with co-producer Ryan Pierre as well as with some of the most exciting names of the current electronic scene, such as Shanti Celeste and Loraine James.
Alongside the announcement, Eden Samara unveiled today a new track off of the project, “D4M”. Listen and pre-order the album below.
